Stability through Funding Doubts in the UK

Demand Rises in France
Truck prices in the north and centre remained steady at $541 to 552 per ton, while the south recorded prices of $530 to 541 per ton.
These values reflected a $16 to 21/ per ton decrease from early April, as April’s monthly price followed March’s levels.
Poland Waits for Change
Polish truck rates held steady at $487 to 498 per ton, with overall demand still sluggish. However, optimism remains, as contractors expect paving projects to regain speed after Easter.
Slight Drop in the Czech Republic
Czech truck rates edged down by $5 per ton, settling between $482 and 493 per ton. While construction activity remained muted, warmer weather will recharge demand in the coming weeks.
Cold Weather Slows Repairs in Ukraine
Ukraine’s bitumen demand fell last week due to an unexpected cold breeze that slowed roadwork. Still, domestic bitumen purchases saw a small uptick as traders pre-stocked ahead of improved conditions.
A Cooling After One Year in Romania
Romania’s market may cool off after a year of massive highway investments. With new budget priorities in place, bitumen demand is projected to decrease. Truck prices remained stable at $514 to 525 per ton.
Hungary Holds the Line
Hungarian truck rates stayed flat at $482 to 493 per ton since market players waited for more compatible spring demand to emerge.
