Tensions Between Iran and Israel
On Saturday, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at Israel in response to the destruction of the Damascus Embassy by Israel. Due to a possible war, the general market idea was about a great impact from tensions. However, the market didn’t react vigorously to the events. Oil and Gold, therefore, had not a huge jump but they are still on their former upward trend.
The overall bitumen market movement is upward too as it started in mid-March. In different regions, rates are increasing but it is slow and steady. Europe experienced an increase as well.
In the Middle East, the new steel drum bitumen was in the range of $ 360 – $ 365 and the bulk bitumen was in the range of $ 280 – $ 285. The bulk of Singapore is volatile in the range of $ 410 – $ 420 and South Korea is currently $ 400 – $ 410. Bahrain bulk recorded 385 USD at the end of the year.
