Where is price going?
Bitumen price was increasing in different regions such as Europe, Africa, and East Asia. On Friday, Singapore rates suddenly increased by 15 $. North Korea also had a 10 $ jump. The Middle East rates have a great pressure to follow an uptrend but clients are still looking for old prices.
Oil markets are staying bullish as well. Demand is expected to increase in May and June. Brent is stalling above 85.
In the Middle East, the new steel drum bitumen was in the range of $ 360 – $ 365 and the bulk bitumen was in the range of $ 280 – $ 285. The bulk of Singapore is volatile in the range of $ 400 – $ 410 and South Korea is currently $ 390 – $ 400. Bahrain bulk stayed at 380 USD.
